According to reports, the F60 MINI Countryman will be unveiled this September at the Paris Motor Show; with possibility of being in UK and European showrooms by the end of the year.
It is expected that MINI will launch the Countryman Cooper and Cooper S models from day one with diesel engines coming a month later. All variants will be available with AWD.
In the US the launch will consist of the 131 hp Cooper and 189 hp Cooper S. Unlike the previous Countryman both will be available with All4 all wheel drive. The new model will also be noticeably bigger as the 2017 Countryman is set to grow in size and will become the MINI’s largest model ever.
For the John Cooper Works fans – expect the JCW featuring a more aggressive body, larger wheels, uprated brakes, and a stiffer suspension. Under the bonnet will be the turbocharged 2.0-litre engine pushing out 228bhp and 320nm of torque – the same as other recent JCW-badged models.
