We know a few of you have been awaiting this… but MINI have finally popped up at the Paris motor show with this, the Mini Clubman JCW.
With the Clubman being one of the bigger models of the MINI range, what we have here is a big, fast MINI. The John Cooper Works Clubman has the same 2.0-litre twin-scroll petrol turbo as in the JCW hatch model, producing 228bhp but 20Nm extra torque, at 350Nm. This means the Clubman can hit 0-62mph in a time of 6.3 seconds with a top speed of 148mph. Not bad eh!
The fuel economy figures aren’t too bad either considering the size of the car, MINI claiming the average for the manual is 38.2mpg and 168g/km CO2 emissions, and the auto 42.5mpg and 154g/km.
The John Cooper Works Clubman starts in the UK from £29,345 (manual) or £30,945 (auto), and is available to order now. Expect the JCW Clubman to hit showrooms before the end of the year.
